I invite you to an unusual walk, led by voices and sounds in your headphones. The installation of the audio play includes works by Russian and Soviet writers N.M. Karamzin, A.M. Tolstoy, V.B. Shklovsky and others, excerpts from historical documents; materials found on the Internet about Peoples' Friendship Park - an ambitious project created by artists, designers, engineers, sculptors, public and political figures from all republics of the USSR, residents of the city of Ulyanovsk for almost two decades: from 1966 to the mid-80s of the last century . Large construction site in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin.
The audio performance mixes the genres of a classic tourist audio tour, quest, radio training, computer game lore and immersive theatrical practices. This strategy re-assembles the real and the fictional each time, creating a space "between". Raises questions of critical perception of space and history, entertains, creates a new impression of the city and long-familiar places, or offers an unusual perspective on exploring the city for pioneers. The experience of the walk is different each time for both the audience and the actors. In fact, these concepts - actor, spectator - also lose their clarity as the route progresses.
The audio play-walk assumes fairly good physical shape. If you don't have time, you can always ask the group or mediator to take a short break.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes - the park is not landscaped, and in some places you will need to walk on grass, dirt or abandoned architectural objects.
See you at the start and remember that the essence of all imagination is truth.
